CCIDC Letter from National

Open Letter from ASID to the Interior Design Community:
"Leading Interior Design Organizations Ask CCIDC to Remove Board Positions Inaccurately Listed as Representing Their Organizations."

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) recently clarified its relationship with the California Council for Interior Design Certification (CCIDC), asking CCIDC to remove its board position inaccurately listed as representing ASID. This listed "board representative" was not officially appointed by ASID, and was required to sign a non-disclosure agreement negating the basic premise of having a representative. Therefore, this individual was not a legitimate representative of ASID or its membership.

ASID is aware that the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC) also recently asked CCIDC to remove its board position listed as representing IDEC.!
