Suzanne Wu Zurinaga, San Francisco
President
Suzanne Zurinaga established Suzanne Zurinaga Design in 2000. Her education includes a BFA in Photography and Multi-Media from Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri and a Certificate in Interior Design/Interior Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley Extension, San Francisco.
She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was President of the California North Chapter in 2006-07. In addition to her design practice she is an instructor at the Art Institute of California, San Francisco campus where she leads emerging interior designers in their education.
In July 2010, Suzanne became the President of the Interior Design Coalition of California (IDCC), prior positions included co-chair for Membership and a member of the Council of Professional Organizations with IDCC.
Lisa Jasper, Alameda
Finance Director
Lisa Jasper, owner of Lisa Weber Design, is an award-winning, certified interior designer and past President of the California North chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. She serves on the Board of Directors of IDCC, and is a member of NARI
Lisa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Design from the University of California at Los Angeles. She works throughout the United States and has completed projects in California, Oregon, Washington, Chicago, Ill, Texas and in homes and offices along the east coast. Her work has been published in Luxury Kitchens and Baths, Alameda Magazine, Oakland Magazine and a series of weekly interior design articles published in the Los Angeles Times.
Lisa is also co-owner of Jasper Construction & Design, Inc., a full-service design-build company, specializing in custom homes and remodeling, as well as commercial and office projects.
Robin J. Stern, Los Angeles
Secretary
Robin Stern is an emerging professional and allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She earned her certificate in Interior Design from UCLA Extension recently, and also holds a BFA in Theater. Robin has a previous career background in television production.
Robin has served as an Officer and/or Board member for many non-profit organiations and worked with The Trust for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (The Ennis-Brown House, where she was also employed as a manager); The New Visions Foundation; several educational organizations and Home-Owners‘ Associations.
Adriel Cogdal, Orange County
Fundraising Director
Adriel Cogdal established Adriel Designs in 1998 specializing in residential and yacht design following a career in the theater. Her education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the United States International University and an Associate of Arts degree in Interior Design from Brooks College. She is a professional member of ASID and has served the Orange County Chapter of ASID in many capacities including President in 2007-2008. She has been a member of the Council of Professional Organizations for IDCC and is currently serving as Fundraising Director.
She has participated in Showcase Houses and has written for the Long Beach Home Improvement Magazine. She has appeared in two episodes of Designer's Challenge on HG/TV. Her work has been published in local magazines and books.
Deborah Davis, Los Angeles
Communications Co-Director
Deborah Davis has been an interior designer for over 19 years and is the principal of Deborah Davis Design, Inc. Her practice involves residential and commercial interior design which includes a roster of celebrities. She has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Illinois State University. She has become a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and is also a member of the United States Green Building Council. Deborah is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Deborah has been an active member of the Los Angeles Chapter of ASID and has served in a variety of ways including President in 2007-2008. She has been published in several magazines, appeared in videos and had the winning design on Designer Challenge on HG/TV. Deborah has been actively involved with IDCC in many capacities.
Patricia K. Weiss, San Diego
Communications Co-Director
Patricia K. Weiss established her business, PKWeiss Interiors in 2001 after moving to San Diego where she specializes in construction project management for her residential and commercial interior design clients. She received her degree in interior design from West Valley College in Saratoga, California in 1990. She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
She began her interior design career in 1989 in San Jose, California. She worked as the director of the interior design department providing project management, drafting, specifications, and client interface for an architectural firm. The firm focused on hospitality, churches, and large commercial buildings in San Jose. Now, besides her interior design clients and legislative activities, Pat is involved with her family and in the community and recently began a new venture, Social Media by Design, helping small businesses create a professional presence in all aspects of social media.
David Rance, Santa Ana
Membership Director
David Rance established David Rance Interiors in 1989, where he focuses on mid to high end residential design. His education includes a degree in Fine Art, with a minor in Architecture, from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, and a degree in Interior Design from Interior Designer's Institute, Newport Beach, California.
He is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was President of ASID Orange County Chapter in 2006-2007. David served on the Practicum Committee for the National Certification for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). He also was City Center Director, Orange County, for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) for several years as well as being on their Board of Directors. Most recently David has been co-chair of the Membership committee, and a member of the Council of Professional Organizations for IDCC.
Jennifer Wood, Sutter Creek
Outreach Director
Jennifer Christou Wood established Jennifer Wood Interior Design in 1998. Her education includes a BFA in Interior Design from AIU, in Atlanta, GA- Buckhead CIDA accredited. Jennifer is working towards her MBA in sustainability from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture.
Jennifer is a professional member of The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is finishing her term as Finance Director of the California Central/Nevada chapter of ASID. She served as the Professional Development Director from 2008-2009. Jennifer is will be the incoming president-elect of her ASID chapter beginning on October 1, 2011.
In addition to her design practice, Jennifer is an adjunct professor at IADT, Sacramento campus. In 2010, Jennifer became a registered interior designer in the state of Nevada. In July 2011, she became a registered interior designer in Florida.
Katherine Fern, Los Angeles
Board Member at Large (Student Liaison)
Katherine Fern has been an interior designer since 1996. She received her Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in French, and her Professional Designation in Interior Design from UCLA Extension. Her design work has been residential with some retail and commercial office projects. Katherine has been active in the Los Angeles ASID chapter and received the Dorothy Peterson Award for Outstanding Dedication to Education from the ASID Los Angeles Chapter in 2009. Recently she has been on the IDCC Council of Professional Organizations. Katherine is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC).
She teaches the Business Strategies and Project Management courses at the UCLA Extension Architecture-Interior Design program. She has been teaching the business aspects of the profession since 2005, and has been the Faculty Advisor to the ASID UCLA Extension Student Chapter. Katherine is currently on the ASID Student Advisory Councils, and in 2010 was awarded ASID’s Faculty Advisor of the Year for her work with her student chapter. She has served as Professional Development Director and is currently President Elect of the Los Angeles Chapter of ASID
Greg Price, Sacramento
Board Member at Large
Greg Price is passionate about fostering the health, safety, and effectiveness of his projects’ occupants. Greg specializes in Ergonomics as the Northern California and Northern Nevada Account Development Representative for Humanscale.
Greg has stayed active in the design community - currently he is the Assistant Vice President of City Centers for the Northern California Chapter of IIDA. From 2002-2010 Greg served as the Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs for IIDA-NC. 2003-2005 He was the Vice President of Legislation for the California Legislative Coalition for Interior Design (CLCID).
Greg earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Design from the University of California, Davis. He is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ #016327), California Council for Interior Design Certification (CID #5906), and is LEED Accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Susan Coddington, Sherman Oaks

Susan joined architect, Robert Stinson in 1988 to found CDG Interior Design + Architecture (Chelsea Design Group, Inc.), located in the Century City area of Los Angeles. CDG, Inc. is a full service interior design and architectural firm committed to providing excellent customer service through qualified, senior level, professional team members. Encouragement of sustainable design practices; LEED accreditation of all managers; and long term associations with our valued clientele, brokers, managers, consultants and vendors in the commercial design and real estate industry, has enabled CDG to successfully evolve within a competitive industry.
Susan graduated from the University of Texas, in Austin, in 1982, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. She is currently serving as co-VP of Government Relations for the Southern California chapter of IIDA, which seeks to support future state legislation for the interior design profession.
She is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association, Southern California Chapter. Susan is also LEED Certified as an Accredited Professional for sustainable design practices.
