Now that Senate Bill 1312 (Yee) has been approved by the Business and Professions Committee, it is moving on to the Senate Appropriations Committee. This Committee addresses the financial impact a bill would have on the State Budget. SB 1312 is fiscally neutral as the fees for becoming registered will offset the cost of the implementation of the program, and it will be part of the existing California Architect's Board. Your assistance is needed for the upcoming committee hearing on Monday, May 19, 2008 in Sacramento. The Interior Design Coalition of California (IDCC) urges you to take action on this important next step.
